This conference brings educators from across Highline together for three days of plenary and concurrent sessions. For new staff, induction pathways are identified to provide a thorough introduction to Highline’s instructional practices and resources. For continuing staff, "strengthening" sessions are offered to develop and explore specific topics.
All new teachers to Highline will learn about how to best support students who have IEPs, including a brief overview of the importance of special education compliance and special education programming in the district. This session will focus on intermediate grades (3-6).
