This conference brings educators from across Highline together for three days of plenary and concurrent sessions. For new staff, induction pathways are identified to provide a thorough introduction to Highline’s instructional practices and resources. For continuing staff, "strengthening" sessions are offered to develop and explore specific topics.
Teachers gain understanding of the philosophy of teaching mathematics in Highline. The session focuses on lesson structure, routines, and instructional practices. Participants explore the effective use of instructional materials and tools to support learning. (double session)
